Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) recently held a red carpet event so let’s take a look at the attendees of the prestigious event.
Lee Byung Hun is on fire this year! The 46-year-old actor starred in 2 Hollywood films: The Magnificent Seven starring alongside Densel Washington, Ethan Hawke and Chris Pratt to name a few and Misconduct with Josh Duhamel, Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins (jaw drops!!! ). Later this year, his thriller movie “Master” with Kang Dong Won and Kim Woo Bin will be released as well.
Kim Go Eun is having a blast this year as well. She starred in her first KDrama “Cheese in the Trap” acting alongside Park Hae Jin and Seo Kang Joon, starred in movie “Canola” and is set to star in another KDrama “Goblin” with “Train to Busan” actor Gong Yoo and “Bubblegum” actor Lee Dong Wook. It seems that her career is not the only one blooming, her agency has confirmed that the actress is dating “Pied Piper” actor Shin Ha Kyun.
Next up is Lee Je Hoon. The 32-year-old actor should be awarded detective of the year for his crime solving roles in movie “Phantom Detective and KDrama “Signal”. He will make a comeback next year with his time-travelling romance KDrama “Tomorrow with You” (Working title).
Shin Min Ah graced 2016 with her fitness rocco KDrama “Oh My Venus” which won her the award for the Outstanding Korean Actress of 2016 in the recently concluded Seoul International Drama Awards. She will make a comeback early next year with Lee Je Hoon for the time-travelling romance KDrama “Tomorrow with You”.
Jin Goo may have played a supporting role but his bromance with Big Boss definitely amassed him renewed love from KDrama fans. The 36-year-old actor played Master Sergeant Seo Dae Young and gave everyone a “support-the-second-lead-couple” syndrome with his forbidden romance with no less than the Lieutenant General’s daughter, First Lieutenant Yoon Myung Ju.
